Learn the basics of dressmaking, following a commercial pattern to produce a pair of pull on trousers. Over three weeks you will learn to understand a commercial pattern, pinning, marking, and cutting your fabric according to the instructions. You will learn how to construct a pair of trousers, use tailor tacks, how to baste stitch, attachshaped patch pockets, sew using correct seam allowance, and fit a garment using elastic. You will have the pattern and notes to reproduce the item multiple times at home .
