Learn all about sliver, tops and rovings, niddy noddies and lazy kates, maidens and mothers-of-all. We will card wool, and look at the various types of fleece and their uses. The course covers spinning with a drop spindle, a great wheel and a treadle driven flyer wheel. All materials are provided, and each student receives a drop spindle and a bag to keep. There will be a one week break, but students will be invited to attend the monthly spinning social evening that week.
