Needle Felting

Needle felting is a dry felting technique. This makes it a perfect craft for when you are sitting on the sofa ! This felting method works by plunging a fine barbed needle into a bundle of wool fibres. This action tangles and compresses the fibres thus shaping them as you work 3D sculptures .This method can also be used to decorate existing felted bags depending on wool type. Birds is only one of infinite possibilities.
